  •  Congratulations to Tyler Hall for college acceptance to Liberty University.
  •  SENIORS. IMPORTANT.  On Thursday or Friday you must go on to www.studentfinancialaid.org and register for Bright Futures.  It is important that you do this immediately so that we can begin to input your transcript.  December 1st is the first day you can do this.  Please do this immediately.
  • FRIDAY HOMEBASE. Report directly to the auditorium for a presentation from our Board of Directors.  Please be in your seat by 7:45.  Thanks for your cooperation.  Your homebase teacher will give you directions today as to your seating area for your homebase and your homebase teacher will be in that section on Friday. Attendance will be taken in the auditorium.
  •    This Thursday, Friday, and Saturday our Performing Arts Department will present the drama King Arthur’s Calamaties.   The performances begin at 7:00 on Thursday and Friday and a matinee at 2:00 on Saturday.  Please support our Logic School performers.
  • A reminder that for this entire week, all homebases and hallways will be closed for lunch time (except for Bible Studies on Wednesday).  You may choose to eat in the auditorium or the field. Those are the ONLY 2 places to eat lunch unless your homebase teacher has directed you differently.   Once you make the choice, you must stay in that area. There will be no playing on the field because many have failed to take time to clean up their food and wrappers after they have played.  Homebase teachers have the right to decide who and when you may return to lunch in homebase.
  • Lost and Found is overflowing!!!  Many of the items have no names. Please see if you have all your sweatshirts and/or jackets. Any sweatshirts and jackets not claimed by Christmas break will be sold. Thank you.

  • CONGRATULATIONS VARSITY FOOTBALL for second round playoff win.
  • Lost and Found is overflowing!!!  Many of the items have no names. Please see if you have all your sweatshirts and/or jackets. Any sweatshirts and jackets not claimed by Christmas break will be sold. Thank you.
  • Unfortunately, Friday was another messy day on the lunch scene at the field, in the auditorium and, in the hallways and homebases .  Consequently, today and all next week, all homebases and hallways will be closed for lunchtime (except Bible Studies on Wednesday).  You may choose to eat at the field or in the auditorium.  Once you make that choice, you must stay in that area. There will be no playing on the field because many have  failed to take time to clean up their food and food wrappers  after they  have played.
  •  After four days of experiencing what it is like to have the freedoms you have been afforded taken away, we may begin to put those freedoms back in place one at a time if the auditorium and field areas are cleaned up.  Some of you do a great job in cleaning up but, overall, the rooms, hallways, and field have looked like a trash areas after lunch.
  •  This is God’s School.  The way we treat it should bring glory and honor to Him.
  • While we are on the issue of cleaning.  Some of your cubbies are also very unkempt.  Beginning next Monday, we will look at cubbies while we are judging for golden dustpan.  For any extremely unkempt cubbie, points will be deducted from your total homebase score.  Please make sure any food  or drink items are removed today.  We do not want to serve thanksgiving dinner to any critters.
  • Even though  some of you have become a little lax in some areas of cleaning and homework and study habits, your teachers and the admin team are very thankful for each one of you. You bless us daily.  We love you and we want for each one of you to become all that God has intended for you to become.  Each of us has been created ,intended for HIS glory.  I pray that you will each have a blessed time and that you will come back ready to work to your maximum potential in every area of your life the last three weeks of the semester. … all for HIS glory.   (Mrs. Jones)
  •   CONGRATULATIONS TO CORNERSTONE’S NOMINEES to the University of Florida’s Youth Leadership Conference:  Molly Consolazio, Katie Barkley, Jack Gregory, Jamison Wyatt.  Will these four students please see Mrs. Jones today for details and information on registering.

  • WE LOVE MRS. NELSON!!! If you see Mrs. Nelson in the hallways today, please give her a big hug!!!  We have been so blessed by her!  She is preparing to welcome her first grandchild, and we will truly miss her!!!!
  • Well, Thanksgiving is almost here!   Let's all show our thanks to everyone who works at Cornerstone! Next Tuesday, please help straighten up the school before we leave for Thanksgiving Break!  Please help clean our classrooms, make sure the auditorium is straight, and don't forget to help Mr. Dudeck haul the garbage out to the dumpster!
  •  Wow! Who can be the loudest Cougar tonight???? Come and cheer on the football team !  Coach Thompson wants us to create the loudest sideline EVER! The three loudest/most decked out Cougar fans will win gift cards to Moe's!!
  • If you all will write your letters to friends and families and help get funds to purchase the Dove property, we might be able to be on a new campus next year. Then we will have a lot of room in the halls! Wouldn’t it be nice to be on our own campus??? Help to make this next 30days a MIRACLE MONTH!!!! ·
  • Spelling bee winner:  Jacob Benton. Carly Butler second place. Congratulations to all of our grade level winners.
  • Logic and Rhetoric Principal advisory committee:  meeting Friday during lunch on field.  The two advisory groups will meet together this week.

    • Denim Day is this Friday!  Show your school spirit, and don't forget your $1 donation!!!
    • Everyone please come out Friday night to support Cougar Football!!!!  We need everyone there to cheer on our team!
    • We WILL NOT be having Chapel this Friday.
    •  GOLDEN DUSTPAN goes to Ms. Ham’s/Moffett homebase.
    •  All students. For the first several weeks of school you all were so responsible during lunch to keep areas clean in which you were eating: homebases, auditorium,  fields. The past week, it appears that someone brought some pigs  to school. You have had a huge letdown.  If you don’t get it together TODAY and clean up after yourselves, many of the lunch freedoms you now enjoy will be taken away and you will all be confined to one place during the entire lunch.  You rhomebases will be locked during lunch. Let’s get back to responsibility….TODAY!!  Remember, this is God’s school.  It is to HIS glory that you keep it clean and neat.
    • Yesterday during the passing time from 5th to 6th, you all had to be quiet in the halls because of the taping being done in the front office for T V 20.  You were marvelous!!!  You whispered the entire time.  If we could do this every period, the grammar school classrooms would be so happy .  We disrupt them terribly when we change classes. Could you please try to continue to whisper  all the time…..just whisper in the halls?  That would be so kind to our little ones……
    •  If you all will write your letters to friends and families and help get funds to purchase the Dove property, we might be able to be on that campus next year.  Then we will have room in the halls and will be able to be very talkative .  Wouldn’t it be nice to be on our own campus???  Help to make this next 30 days a MIRACLE MONTH!!!!
    •  Thursday school: ALL STUDENTS MUST WEAR SCHOOL UNIFORMS ON THURSDAY. RIGHT NOW THE ONLY EXCEPTION IS STUDENT GOVT.  THEY MAY WEAR THEIR STUDENTS GOVT SHIRTS.  DEMERITS WILL BE GIVEN FOR VIOLATION.
